Nerve Net Noise

Yokohama artist Hiroshi Kumakiri (aka Kumax) began building analog synthesizers in 1994. At first, he presented his instruments in some galleries as pieces of art work. Then in September of 1995, a label invited him to perform a concert using his synthesizers. He joined forces with techno/pop composer Tsuyoshi Nakamaru (aka Tagomago) for the event, after which they decided to work together as Nerve Net Noise. Their songs are neither careful compositions nor violent playing, but modulation of oscillators.
